Alum: Buckeye Central is one of the most welcoming high schools in the area. There is a large variety of classes for everyone, plenty of sprite to enjoy, and so many events to incorporate the community with student life. The teachers are thoughtful, hard-working, and accepting. The small-town life makes it easy to be involved with everyone and make friends quickly. I loved all four years at this high school. There’s options to earn college credits as well. The guidance counselor and teachers really help seniors in their journey to chowing a college with ease. This school helps prepare students for what they should expect outside of high school. This is really one of the best schools in the area, and I would say all of Ohio.... Read 13 reviews

Senior: The Shelby City School District is where I have grown up and gone to school my whole life. Shelby is a small town, so there is not much diversity within it; however, the foreign exchange program has provided opportunities for me to meet people from Germany and Italy that I consider good friends of mine. There is a good balance of athletics and academics. Scholar athletes are awarded for good grades as well as being involved in sports. I felt pushed to ensure that I was dedicating enough time to my athletics as well as my grades. The athletic facilities are very modern and well taken care of. The football field is only a year old, and it is now part of the Whippet Athletic Complex. The theater is also very nice and well cared for. There are many opportunities to try new activities and to be involved. There is something for everyone to enjoy and be a part of, and I would recommend this school to anybody.... Read 9 reviews

Senior: I first moved to Plymouth when I was 14 and about to become a freshman. It was the summer of 2017 right before my freshman year was suppose to start. I was terrified that I wouldn't make friends, that I wouldn't do good in classes, or that the teachers wouldn't like me. A few days before the school year actually started the school had a little get together to allow students to mingle and get to know each other. I didn't want to go at first because I was afraid I wouldn't have anyone to talk but my mom convinced me to go and everyone was immediately welcoming. The first day of school I had already meant people so it wasn't so scary. Although the school is very small, I think it is a good thing because it allows each student to have different opportunities and allows students to talk to teachers or counselors when they need it. The staff is amazing to, they truly care about the success of the students. Over-all Plymouth has been my favorite school and town and will forever be my home.... Read 8 reviews
