Alum: Buckeye Central is one of the most welcoming high schools in the area. There is a large variety of classes for everyone, plenty of sprite to enjoy, and so many events to incorporate the community with student life. The teachers are thoughtful, hard-working, and accepting. The small-town life makes it easy to be involved with everyone and make friends quickly. I loved all four years at this high school. There’s options to earn college credits as well. The guidance counselor and teachers really help seniors in their journey to chowing a college with ease. This school helps prepare students for what they should expect outside of high school. This is really one of the best schools in the area, and I would say all of Ohio.... Read 13 reviews

Senior: The Galion City School District motto, ‘Believe, Achieve, Succeed” is certainly evident in the teaching styles and in the enthusiasm of the teachers from the primary building to the high school. Teachers and administrators consistently go the extra mile to ensure students are getting the best and most well rounded education possible. Educators at Galion never allow gifted students to be held back, nor do they leave struggling students behind. Opportunities for help in the classroom are always available to students in every subject and in every grade level. The importance of education is always stressed here in the Galion School District. Because of this, a significant amount of students who have graduated from Galion are prepared for a successful future whether it be in college or in the work force. In my experience with the Galion City School District, I have met quality people- both teachers and students- and I have been constantly encouraged to do my best to achieve my goals.... Senior: Wynford is a great school for a small town like Bucyrus. All the students are close but the student body is not very diverse. There are a lot of amazing academic opportunities such as CCP and other advanced courses. The facilities themselves are brand new and kept up with very well. Alum: I graduated from this school in 2019. I had attended since I was in kindergarten, from 2006-2019. This school gets plenty of bad press, but coming from a student who attended here, it was a very good place to grow up in. I learned a lot from school due to the smaller class sizes and one on one relationships with my teachers. I can honestly say at the end of the day, I had teachers who felt more like parents than anything. They cared so much about the well being and education of their students. This school has always been thrown under the bus by other districts and counties. I have nothing but good things to say. Conflict was always resolved quickly, teachers were willing to stay after school to help, there were always opportunities available to push ourselves and do better. We had our kindergarten teachers there all the way up to our senior year teachers. This school just creates an irreplacable family bond that you can't find anywhere else.
