My high school experience was literally stellar -- to the point where I still miss it as a college student. The laid back yet invigorating atmosphere facilitated by the principal made pep rallies and spirit days absolute parties. I truly enjoyed going to a school where so many races and ethnicities were present, and I've never once felt like a lone minority. I had some of the best teachers here who made the classroom a warm and inviting space, and the AP/AICE courses helped prep for college.
Some improvements would be fixing the overcrowding issue, because parking, carpooling and so many other areas become extremely difficult to manage with so many people at the school. It was also really hard to get in touch with my guidance counselor, which I think a lot of peers agreed with, so guidance counselors in general were just understaffed and seemed way too busy for us.
Overall, I still love Cypress Bay through and through!

I love my School! The atmosphere is great every single day, and I know the administration works nonstop to make our education even better. Here in Weston, Cypress Bay is the High School everybody wants to go to, not only because of the academics, but because of the community we make part of. The only complaint is against the installation, given we have an overpopulation, we had to get some containers. Nevertheless, they are already building new classrooms (and right now not many kids are going to school because of the pandemic). Go Cypress Bay!
With a nearly 5,000 student population campus, The Bay has been a memorable experience! Each teacher is amazing in their own quirky way. There's a tremendous effort of representation and inclusion across all races, genders, ethnicities, and religions. With over 100 clubs and multiple extra curriculars, Cypress Bay is hard to top. Each year has been so special in its own way. The arts and sports are heavily appreciated in funding a well kept maintenance from the school and city.
