I loved Ursuline Academy because of the loving and welcoming community. The environment with all girls creates a strong sisterhood were everyone is comfortable being themselves. Its mentality is putting peoples best work forward and always trying to improve the next time. The teachers are friendly and kind and want to make sure all their students understand their work. Our complex schedule definitely gets us ready for college with making sure that we have good time management skills. Of course there are areas that the school could improve on such as reaching out to be more diverse instead of an all white school. The food could be better with all the money that gets put into the school, and some of the equipment for sports teams and theater could be replaced. Overall, it is a great school with a intense focus on academics and leadership in the community where everyone can find there place at this school. I recommend anyone who is very independent and high achieving to come to Ursuline!
I absolutely love it here! The academics are top-notch, and the teachers are very supportive of students' passions inside and outside of the classroom! Because of my Ursuline education, I was accepted to my dream college! There are also so many ways to get involved from day 1, from clubs to community service to sports to the performing arts. However, I do wish that more funding went towards some of these extracurriculars, as well as the food, given that tuition is so expensive. This aside, Ursuline is the perfect place for me, and I will forever be grateful for my days as an Ursuline Lion!
I am so grateful for my time at Ursuline! The teachers and staff are friendly and supportive and show genuine interest in their students. The classes were engaging and challenging. I felt well prepared for the transition to college. Ursuline offers competitive athletic teams as well as impressive theater and arts programs. There are also many opportunities for spiritual growth and an emphasis on community service. The unique schedule taught me invaluable time management skills. Most importantly, this all girls school empowered me as a young woman and I graduated with life long friends, the courage to use my voice, and the invaluable gift of a Catholic education.
