Freshman: Dover Sherborn School district is one of the top notch school districts in the state. The high school equipped with nice classrooms, well kept hallways, and lovely Staff. The Middle school only 20 years old is amazingly modern with technology. The two Elementary schools that locate in the towns of Sherborn and Dover are very welcoming and enjoyable to learn in. The Sports and clubs are always very full of excitement (if you play Golf, Tennis, or Lacrosse, this is perfect for you as these sports have won states multiple times in the last 5 years). I feel very safe in my classroom all day and everyday whether I’m walking through the halls to the next class, or walking to the cafeteria. The cafeteria situated in between the middle and High-school serves very enjoyable food with plenty of seating options along with outdoor seating when the weather is nice.... Read 12 reviews

Junior: It's good, the teachers are good, the school is nice, kept in good condition. Education varies however, depending on the teachers. Sometimes there are teachers who give you a decent workload and actually teach and engage the class, but there are other teachers who give way too much work and expect us to know everything and a handful of teachers that do the exact opposite--give no work, don't teach the class, and we don't learn anything. Senior: I’ve gone to Belmont schools since I was 5 years old. In terms of the highschool, for the most part, amazing academics, and the arts program is fantastic. However, many classes (especially English classes) are less about the subject and more about identity and politics. This was the case from middle school throughout high school, and unfortunately because of this prioritization on social justice issues, many key parts of learning are left out, such as essay writing and other English/language arts skills that will help in college.... Junior: Wayland High School is a school that prepares you for college. The teachers help you with understanding independent work, while still letting you figure it out on your own, prepping you for how life is like outside of high school. The arts programs are excellent, however the sports aren't very highly-rated. The school has a small student body, however this allows for a more tight-knit academic community. Academic-wise, the classes offered push students for full comprehension. AP classes aren't offered until Junior year, excluding AP Computer Science in sophomore year. Junior: LPS is one of the best school systems out there, I've gone through their elementary, middle and high school's. You'll certainly get a different experience at the different elementary and middle school's, they're all different. LPS presents so many different opportunities for students to succeed and really works to make sure that each and every child receives the support they need. Senior: I absolutely love Winchester High School and all the schools in my town. Since I was young, i've always known how rigorous the academics are. Junior: The Shrewsbury Public School System consists of understanding, helpful, and hardworking teachers who truly put in their best effort to give students a meaningful learning experience. The variety of subjects and classes offered allows students to figure out their areas of interest and focus on whatever topics they choose. The different levels of difficulty of the classes - B level, A level, Honors, and AP - makes it so everyone is comfortable and appropriately challenged in their classes. To add on, there are numerous clubs and groups after school so everyone can find something they enjoy and explore hobbies. Although the schools are quite ideal, the college readiness aspect could be improved. Juniors are not really informed on how to best prepare for or what to expect during the college application process. Senior: I definitely enjoyed my twelve years in westford public schools! I think Westford Academy is especially impressive in how well they prepare students for college. However, I do wish the school worked to improve the highly competitive environment and stressful atmosphere. The higher level classes are very daunting, and most students choose not to take any AP classes due to their overwhelming nature. Some teachers and students in those higher level classes can be quite rude and degrading to students who may be struggling or not as academically inclined. I also don’t like how the GPA system is deflated, as it makes transcripts appear worse when compared to students from a lesser community (such as Lowell High) who received 4.0s and took all APs. I think the best part about WA is definitely the staff, as they all care a great deal about their students and are genuinely awesome people that make me and my friends excited to come to school everyday!... Alum: Quality education and teachers. The teachers are welcoming and supportive of our children's progress and ambitions. Sharon High School is recently built new, so they have a better facility. The school bus is free up to grade 6, but only if you live far away (2 miles if I'm not mistaken). Food needs to be healthier. Kids keep eating burgers, hot dogs, pizza, and bread for the whole school year. Also, after-school programs or clubs cost but the children didn't really learn anything. Elementary and middle school language classes are not useful, we ask the kids to speak the language they took and they can't. Schools and parents organizations keep asking for donation.... Senior: Is going to school really that bad? I don’t think so. In Westwood, I am always free to make my own choice. I always get to choose what subject I want to study including other things like music, art, or PE, join clubs and make friends with people who have the same hobbies as me. I still remember having fun, singing, talking and playing games during breaks. Wetwood is full of joy and laughter – something that cannot be found so easily later in life. I can’t imagine what my life will be like after I leave Westwood. Will my colleagues at work be as caring as my classmates? Will my boss forgive my mistakes like my teachers do? Will I lose my passion for life when I have to go out into the real world? Sophomore: I've been going to Cambridge Public schools for basically my whole life (except for 9th grade, I moved for a year). I went to the Kennedy-Longfellow School, where I stayed my whole elementary. Whenever I pass by it I get very pleasant nostalgic memories. I especially loved kindergarten, where we had nap time. After Kennedy, I went to Putnam Avenue Upper School. It's a fairly new middle school and while it wasn't the best due to the pandemic and all, those were probably the most chaotic 3 years of my life. I don't miss it as much as Kennedy, but I met 3 other friends there - we're still friends now as I'm in high school. High school. I currently attend Cambridge Rindge and Latin, one of the two public high schools in Cambridge. I like it so far, it's my first year. Parent: I like the school course choices. I like the athletic department lots of choices to ply sports. Loved the strength and conditioning class. Music department great.Teachers are very helpful with school work. Would change the lunch menu. Would like to see them to help students who are on sports team .With there homework like not so much. I think more students would go out for sports if they did something. Like have a group study hall before practice to help students who are strangling.But to ashamed to ask for help. I know in college the have other team mates help students out.And students who have hard time with testing .give them a little easier test.And students who don’t like doing getting up in front of class to do a presentation because of anxiety and fear.Let them do a test or something else.
