East Cleveland City School District Reviews
We are a mainly African-American district in as result we are expected to have low opportunities and low educational standards. But with my experiences growing up in these schools there are opportunities all around us and their are multiple ways to succeed. Not one person have I ever met never wanted me or my classmates to not succeed. Thier always engaging and interested in things we really want. We are given opportunities beyond belief. I love my district becuase we fight the odds.
This school has alot of pride. We practically bleed red, black and white. Shaw High School has a very devoted staff, and student who really focus on their education. We love each other like a family, and try our best to ensure each other's safety in the learning environment. Shaw High School has many street school activities to keep us occupied including sports, clubs, and even the world renown Shaw high School Marching Band and Progeny Jazz Band. We also have academic programs for our Juniors and Seniors call Career Tech, which help you prepare for what career you would like to focus on, and even obtain licenses by taking a state test at the end of your senior year. Our School facility is not as big as most other but, it is no problem compared to the love for each other and devotion for our grades that we have at Shaw High School.
What is liked about East Cleveland City Schools is the few opportunities they offer in terms as career. The programs such as nursing and cosmetology gives our students a chance to either decide whether or not they want to continue they practice or pursue further after leaving high school. There's so much that can change about the district but mainly would be the horrible food. Food is so bad by way of the eye and nose you find yourself inspecting before you eat.
