From college prep classes to soccer teams, I am extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to attend a high school like Carmel. For the almost four years I have been attending, Carmel has proven how their high-quality teachers and curriculum can allow students to reach academic achievement. The facility, more specifically counselors, has provided tremendous support in the segway from the remainder of a student's high school experience to college, making the transition much less stressful. Not only does Carmel have outstanding scholastic fulfillment, but the endless clubs and state-winning athletic programs allow for students to become involved with the school and the community inside the classroom and out. I am forever grateful for the memories I have made at Carmel High School and wouldn't have wanted to receive a high school diploma from anywhere else!
Carmel High School is bigger than many colleges. The size of the school allows for very diverse academics, highly competitive sports, amazing marching band and choir programs. They have a class for everything from jewelry making to human body systems. Students are encouraged to join or start a club. Debate, Key Club, UNICEF, Green Action, DECA, Entrepreneur Club, Unified Sports and so much more. Most teachers are great! The math department has room for improvement.
Carmel Highschool has an amazing community both inside and out of school hours. Clubs and activities are very engaging and there’s not a thing you can’t make a club out of at this school. The teachers and counselors are incredibly supportive and the environment created is phenomenal. I would recommend this school to anyone that’s looking for a community, there’s bound to be someone you connect with! Our school is huge, after all.
