Senior: I've absolutely loved the past four years of my time at Regis. People often ask me what exactly makes it such a special place. Most could take a glance at its commitment to universal full-scholarships, high student SAT scores, an impressive college admissions profile, or location matched only by some of New York City's most elite private schools and walk away impressed. However, the more I've thought it over, the more I've come to believe that it is the people that make Regis the exceptional institution it is today. Everyone from my enthusiastic, exceptional teachers to the actively engaged and intellectually curious classmates I get to surround myself with every day has made my high school experience remarkably conducive to my spiritual development in the Jesuit tradition and to pushing my academic achievements to their limits in a way that I couldn't briefly describe. I'm eternally grateful for how dramatically the Regis community has changed my life in such a short period of time.

Parent: Delbarton is truly a wonderful school for boys to become highly educated, respectful, hard working young men. It is a great environment. Outside the school, you will meet people that passionately love the school. Conversely, there will be people that passionately dislike the school. The latter is typically due to a family member or friend that was not accepted and they felt the boy should have been accepted. Delbarton is a very academically and extracurricular diverse community that not only spans athletics but the arts. Do not listen to what others say. I highly recommend that you and your son visit Delbarton and your son does a student for a day. You will be amazed by the Delbarton experience.

Senior: I am so lucky to have been able to attend Sacred Heart. The teachers dedicate so much time and effort into your success, the classes are small and the conversations are (mostly) amazing and thought-provoking, and the resources are insane (for all classes, sports, libraries, art, etc). I have found an amazing community of friends and peers, and have found such a great support system here. I am so ready for college, but admittedly, I will miss this place.

Parent: Our son is in Form IV and has benefited so tremendously during his time at Cistercian. The environment is phenomenal and, from day 1, the staff and Monks help to shape the entire young man-yes, academically, but emotionally, spiritually and athletically, as well. We could not be more pleased with the school and feel so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful and supportive community. I am confident that our son will be able to have whatever future he is capable of, with the experience that he is garnering from this amazing school.

Senior: Strake Jesuit is a great school that balances teaching Catholic Worldview and academics. Most of the teachers are pretty good, and there are plenty of extracurricular activities offered at Strake. However, there are a few issues, namely the culture of the students. All of the students have opinions, which is a good thing. The problem is that many of them like to cram their opinions down your throat, and those who don’t agree or don’t want to hear it tend to be met with ridicule. If the atmosphere of the school could become more accepting, it would be better for everyone.

Freshman: Marymount is great! I have been at the school since kindergarten, and I could not be happier. I have gotten to know some of my closest friends through Marymount. Not only that, but the class as a whole is such a great group. I enjoy my classes and the opportunity to have interesting academic discussions with my peers that they provide. The courses are engaging and the teachers are very helpful. I also enjoy my clubs, including the school newspaper, and sports. I am on the school rowing team, which is a great way to get to know the sport. I know my friends on other school teams also have fun playing and getting to know the upperclassmen. Overall, Marymount is an exceptional school, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking at high schools!

Alum: I loved my experience at Priory, from start to finish. I felt challenged, but not overly-stressed. Time management was a cinch in college thanks to my time at Priory -and entering college with nearly two semester's worth of credits helped offset some of the cost (or so my parents tell me, ha). The school is very diverse for a Catholic school, but not as diverse as a public school or JBS.
My friends from Priory are friends for life, and I will not hesitate to highly recommend it to anyone who would be a good fit for the challenge.

Sophomore: Carrollton is a school that encompasses various opportunities for students starting from their Montessori years. It is a College Prep school and therefore preps their students for college from the very beginning of Freshman year. Students learn about the college admissions process, the challenges and difficulties of applying to colleges, and how to determine what college is best fit for them. Carrollton is also an all-girls school. The benefit of being a diverse all-girls school is that students have the freedom to speak on various topics regarding race, sex, culture, etc. in an open environment. Along with that, students have a close bond with their class along with different grade levels. Teachers strive to assist their students in any struggle they have. Last but not least, the campus, home to multiple peacocks and a beautiful bayside view, provides students with an atmosphere full of nature and beauty. Overall, Carrollton is a wonderful school!

Senior: I have had the most amazing education at SHS. The teachers teach beyond the book and what is required, which allows me to have a truly well rounded education. In addition, they are extremely supportive and truly want to get to know the students. There are lots of opportunities for students to get involved in pretty much anything, from sports to leadership to arts. Leadership opportunities are structured in a way that is balanced during the school day, so student athletes or performers in the play can still be involved in other clubs. The school has really placed emphasis on student wellness also. And, the community is supportive and fun. I have loved my experience as a gator and will miss it next year!

Alum: There are several pros associated with this school: instilling a sense of purpose and becoming "Men for Others," is of utmost importance. Students are academically challenged from the start. The campus is incredible, facilities immaculate, and the history of the school is incredibly rich. I also really enjoyed the religious element; I most enjoyed "World Religions," where I learned about inclusivity and open-mindedness through carefully studying and understanding other religious systems and beliefs. The one negative for me was how conservative and non-diverse the school is; you will experience your fair share of rich kids. Your typical kid at Prep will spout whatever political/religious jargon their well-off parents spewed at home, without thinking about it critically and how policies/actions will affect "normal" people -- which can become quite hypocritical, given the school's motto: "Men for Others." Students of varying income levels and backgrounds need to be better incorporated.

Also, each student is paired with a counselor who assists the student on scholarships and college applications. Extracurricular activities are endless at Brophy. If a club does not exists, the school will help you to start it and highly encourage it. There is never a shortage of clubs, sports events and extracurricular activities. Overall, Brophy College Preparatory is a High School that provides everything a student needs to become successful after graduation.

Senior: Mayfield is a wonderful school! Mayfield not only provides a wide range of athletics and conservatories, but also provides opportunities for service and courses that prepare you for the future. The faculty and staff treat the students and parents with care, as if they are family. Safety is not an issue at Mayfield, for there is a security guard at the gate who takes his/her job seriously and works to help keep the campus safe. Teachers make themselves available for students who need extra help, but there are also peer tutors. The college counselors are always around to lend a helping hand, wether it be teaching you how to properly mail a letter, give you a "pep talk", how to apply for scholarships, and much more! The facilities were amazing, the teachers were great (mostly), and as a current college student, I feel so prepared to tackle university courses and exams. I was a participant in the theater program at Saint Francis, and (for the most part), I had a great experience. As a non Catholic at a Catholic school, I felt that the religion classes gave me another perspective in which I view the world. Parent: My son just graduated from Loyola. High marks for the school on turning out high-quality young men who care about their friends and communities. The education is rigorous and while not all of my son's teachers would receive an "A," many are outstanding. I felt that the school was behind the times for students with an interest in engineering/technology as the targeted outcome for students seems to be more focused on law, business, finance tracks. Overall, my son enjoyed the experience and feels very prepared for his freshman year at a top college!

Senior: Saint Anselm's Abbey School is one of the best things to ever happen to me. The school has an amazing environment that I have not felt outside of St. Anselm's. The faculty love what they do and love to always talk about their respective subjects and offer help to those that need it. The school has a phenomenal community that welcomes in everyone that enters. New students almost immediately become oriented with their new classmates and feel like part of the family the moment they enter the community. The brotherhood at the Abbey cannot be duplicated in high school. Everyone loves each other and seeks the best in each other. There is no bullying or issues like that at our school, there are no cliques or anything of the sort at our school. The sports programs welcome anyone to join, we do not recruit so all of our athletes come from within our walls. I love this school and I encourage anyone looking for a school please consider the Abbey.

The academic preparation was exceptional, and our boys developed close relationships with several faculty members. Their athletic experiences were outstanding as well. Each boy played multiple sports all the way through, and they were blessed to play for great coaches who made character their primary focus.
