Senior: I have attended Shiloh Christian School for my entire life. I started in pre-k and have loved every single day up until my senior year. Shiloh is truly a family and everyone knows everybody on a personal level. Shiloh Christian provides and cares for their students. They make sure that every student receives a quality education that prepares them for college and even more, life. Shiloh is an amazing school. Also, Shiloh's athletics are amazing as well. I played football for Shiloh since the fourth grade. The coaches that were provided for us were absolutely amazing and built deep relationships with us. I know that I have many men to call when I am in a tough situation. It also provided me with a brotherhood with my teammates and helped me to bond with many life-long friends. Senior: I’m so glad that I had the opportunity to attend CCS. After being homeschooled, I was instantly welcome by a great group of people and have made some amazing friends. A couple people weren’t the greatest, but every school has bad apples. The teachers are welcoming and great examples for students to look up to both socially and spiritually. Taking college classes has been great too, as I will graduate with my freshman year of college completed. Participating in athletics has also been an amazing opportunity. The coach’s are all great examples and know the sports they lead. I know I would not be the person I am today if it wasn’t for my time at CCS, and thanks to this welcoming environment, I feel better prepared to go into the world as a strong and educated follower of Christ.... Senior: What I love about Ozark Adventist Academy is the overall atmosphere here. In my experience, there have been so many experiences where I saw love and kindness in action, through students helping each other, offering a listening ear, and a warm hug, and staff members continually making my well-being one of their priorities. Senior: I enjoyed going to school at Providence from kindergarten to senior year. It is a school that integrates the Bible with the lessons in class. It is a very rigorous school, preparing you for college. The teachers are very investing in helping you do better in any way that they can help. I would say the board of administration is very one sided and plays favorites. The rules are followed loosely or not at all. There is always some group that new students can find to join. Senior: Ridgefield is an unapologetically Christian school, and it shows through it's staff. This school has been a great influence on me compared to Public school. However, because of the high moral standard set at this school, I often feel like I will be judged for every little mistake that I might make. While the teachers and head of school do their best to make it clear that they want to help students who are struggling, if a student is self professed in a struggle (The staff believes the student is struggling with something that the student does not believe is a problem) the "help" that they give is forced and doesn't seem to be coming from an extremely loving heart. But I have also met some of my most favorite teachers at this school. Every school has its good and its bad, and every school is better for one person than it may be for another. Senior: I absolutely loved the close-knit environment that crosspointe provided because it was such a small school. Plus, the constant encouragement that I received to continue pursuing my relationship with the Lord has really helped me become the person I am today. One thing that I think could be changed about CrossPointe is that they should offer some sports for those who would like to participate in them, because I know of students who have left Crosspointe for other schools solely because they wanted to pursue a career in sports and Crosspointe did not offer options for that type of career choice.... Alum: I grew up going to this school, and graduated from here, overall, I would say that the school is a very social environment. Due to the school being so small, you get to know everyone, which is nice but also it limits the education level, as there are only a small number of teachers and only one teacher per class, so you only hear one person's view on a certain topic. In regard to education, I managed to get 21 hours for college while enrolled at Baptist Preparatory, and even though they were college level classes, they did not prepare me for college like I expected. Senior: Being a senior in the academy, I wish there was more academic rigor during my high school years, specifically in 9th grade for both math and science. Because of the lack of teacher capability, I have been playing catchup since my freshman year. One thing I love about the school is how they get the older students involved with younger students. I hope this continues to grow. I do wish there was some sort of “big sibling” program for kids who have just enrolled at MHCA or those who have a difficult home life. Senior: Conway Christian school is a highly relational institution where students cultivate friendships with both peers and teachers. I enjoy the emphasis on practical Christianity and the relationships you make with peers from diverse grades ands with your teachers. However, I believe that they do not teach to their full potential; they could better maximize their class times. I think that they could also improve their investigations of issues so that their decisions are more accurate and informed.
