Great school. Just the right size. Awesome faculty and staff. I enjoyed my 4 years here. Very supportive counselors.
If you're not an outgoing person, this is not the place for you. There are better schools out there, big waste of our time and money.
It’s a well known fact that anyone willing to pull out their checkbook can get anything they want done at the school or for their child, but everyone turns a blind eye. I am a 2004 alum and was unimpressed when I moved here, academics weren’t any stronger than the charter school I had come from and the majority of 10th grade students here were doing drugs in the bathroom and drinking their weekends away. I also have an 8 year old daughter who loved 1st grade but developed an extreme fear of school midway through 2nd grade. I believe she must have been bullied at the very least but she remains silent only to cry when school is mentioned. Staff was unwilling to admit bullying was a possibility. Physically safe behind the gates but psychologically worse off than public school. Which is worse?
