My first time ever going into High school was in my ninth grade year. All my life before then, I had been home schooled. It was a tough transition, but when I was finally able to adjust to the cultural, I loved it! I love how all faculty and staff are so supportive and will help any student with a drop of a hat. I have a counselor who is so helpful, she helps me apply and prepare for college. I love how much the cultural is focused on Christ as we are all unified as one school and family. It was so easy to get involved at Southwest. I am in Student council, Worship team, competition choir, Softball captain and a teachers aid. I'm thankful for my school. It's not just a school to me, it's a family and I'm thankful for that. It's been amazing to join Southwest Christian academy. This is why I am looking forward to College because I know without a doubt I'll be ready mentally, spiritually, academically, and emotionally for College because of my High School years.

I've been involved in SCA in one way or another since its inception. I attended for a few years in the 80s when it only went to ninth grade. I can't imagine sending my kids anywhere else because I trust the administration and teachers, and I believe that the spiritual and mental well-being of the students is priority one. One of the things that I am most proud of, having watched the school develop over the years, is that as the school has grown in number it has also grown in diversity. This year my kids' friends are white, black, Asian, and Hispanic Americans, and exchange students from Canada, China, Korea, Australia, Serbia, and Bosnia. I love that they can enjoy learning in an environment where they are loved, and I appreciate that there is a strong choir and drama program for my artistic child and sports for my athletic one. The cost is half of some of the west little rock private schools. I love my school.
I love Southwest Christian Academy. My son has gone there since he was 16 months old and is now finishing first grade. He has had the best of the best teachers every single year! He loves going to school daily because he adores the faculty and staff and his friends there. He stays excited about learning and has blown me away with his progress! I encourage any parents to place their a children in SCA.
