As someone who participates in athletics at UCA, I feel I have a different perspective than others who attend the school. I enjoy the tight-knit community that is fostered at the school, although it can be hard to become friends at first, once you become a member of Union Christian Academy, you're with them for life. The staff is very nice and cares about the well-being of their students along with how they are performing academically. I would recommend Union to people who are looking for a small, but close community with good education too.
I've served as a faculty member, a parent of students at Union and as a pastor of a supporting church in the community. This school is an absolute blessing. Our kids are growing exponentially in their knowledge, both at the school education levels AND biblical knowledge. I've been treated very well as a member of the faculty and as a community pastor of a church that supports Union on a monthly basis, we are extremely pleased with how the school represents Christ and the influence and service they have in the Arkansas River Valley.
I love going to Union. Union is small enough that it feels like one big family. Everyone knows your name and knows who you are. It has its flaws of course, and being so small means class options are limited, but it really is a great place.
