Seagoville High School Reviews
Rating 3.36 out of 5 165 reviews
Honestly, I absolutely love my high school. I love being involved. I love being in extracurriculars. I love helping out the community in the community service clubs.
Seagoville High School is by no means the worst school known to man, but it's certainly not the best. Definitely not a school I'd want my future child to go to or recommend. A majority of the staff has no idea how to teach or is cut off by the lack of time due to the A/B day system. The week is split by A and B days which split the 8 periods into 4 which I personally have a large disdain for. If one were to lose a school day to bad weather or a school activity the teachers would have to cut lessons to catch up with the rest of the curriculum. I have personally experienced this when in my Junior year due to exams and pep rallies I lost a MONTH's worth of B day classes. This wouldn't be a problem if the schedule was set to a normal 8 period day. I also noticed the lack of adequate teachers on staff
I went here as a Freshman and Sophomore and it was both fun and educational. There are a lot of students to socialize with, but like most public schools, once you find your group, it becomes easier to walk through the crowd.
