Overall, In the past 4 years that I’ve been coming here! Technically 2 1/2 in person only because of medical reasons! But the staff and financial office are really nice and easy to work with. Compared to other university’s like UNT, and TCU, the organization of the online classes and financial offices from those schools aren’t great compared to UTA office and class education organization. For instances, in my case I had to medically withdraw and UTA was so understanding and offered many accommodations to help with me, the professors are also understanding! The only thing I really had trouble with recently is getting in contact with Business Advisors and every department isn’t the same, but I feel like if you don’t ask the right questions. They won’t tell you everything; for example, I met with and TCC advisor and she was an ex UTA business advisor and she was telling me about programs and scholarships that UTA Business offers and said an advisor should’ve at least mentioned it to me!
The University of Texas at Arlington has been treating me well so far, everyone is super nice and helpful, and I really enjoy the activities which are held on campus quite often, as well as the various stands of which most of them tend to encourage others to take actions which improve society and provide help to others. So far, the professors are very fun, and do their best to make work the least stressful as it could be. I also enjoy my department which my major is under, which is engineering, the professors obtain great teaching tactics, and make the material interesting too learn. My favorite class as of now is my "Medical applications of engineering" class. And last but not least, I appreciate the fact that the school provides extra resources for students, as this makes the learning process more smooth. Its been a great experience, go Mavs!
The University of Texas at Arlington is a welcoming and very diverse university! All staff is very helpful and polite. There is plenty of tutoring, mental health, and many more resources on campus to help you with anything you might be struggling with, as well as many events to keep you occupied. It is maintained and the campus is very neat. There are also plenty of safety and security regulations to make sure you are safe on campus 24/7. The professors are also understanding, engaging, and love to teach. All in all, I would recommend this University to anyone who is headed into their college career!
