Thomas Jefferson High school was a great high school experience for me. The teachers worked their way to make their students into great individuals. The staff as a whole worked their best for us to have a great high school experience. The teachers and staff encouraged us to strive for success and make the world a better place one step at a time. Now here I am pursuing a career in nursing thanks to this school for encouraging us every single time. I enjoyed every moment in this school, and I have noticed how much it has improved throughout the years. The staff are always working to improve academically for future generations and I have hope that the outcome from the improvements will result to successful professionals.

Great school. Great teachers. But needed more funding for extracurricular activities and clubs. The school gets a bad reputation, but it's actually not even that bad. For parents you just have to educate your kids on who to associate themselves with. Because there are good and bad eggs in every school. School like was pretty good. Security was great, considering it I'd a Dallas school. There would be metal detectors at every door and they checked your bags. But it was for everyone's safety. The food wasn't that great but you can't help it if there's no funding. It Is a public school after all. I just wish they had more clubs when I was there but I've heard they had added more recently. Overall good.
Thomas Jefferson High School has change tremendously. Students focus on their studies respecting the teachers. Also participating in school activities for example decorating the hall way for Halloween season. My school has been through rough times that students did drugs, students brought weapons to campus and had a lot of fights during transition. When I was a freshman I expected to be bully by the older class. I'm a senior now that never had gotten in trouble it went pretty smooth just focusing on my grades. One of the things I would like my school to improve is for the counselors to not mess up the students schedule. This year I asked for AP Physics class but I had to wait and learn from the other class till they fix it. At the end I got put in AP biology class; other students had to bring their parents for the counselor to change the students schedule. It's like if the councelor doesn't care about their job. Over all its a great school to attend.
