Immaculata High School Reviews

I switched to Immaculata High School from a much larger public high school and this was the BEST decision I ever could have made! My school makes every student feel like they are a very important piece of a giant puzzle, no matter who you are, what you do or where you are from. It is a place that is kind and welcoming and making the decision to switch for a better opportunity in the middle of my Junior year was certainly difficult however, because of the culture of this school, I was immediately a part of a large family as if I had been here all along. I have never felt so immersed in the entire school community nor did I ever feel the desire to be involved in so much school activity. Immaculata is definitely a special place that I will miss once I graduate but I know that I will always have a home in the Spartan hallways!
This school made me absolutely miserable. I was bullied by teachers and students. Most teachers are not even qualified to be teaching, I literally had a chemistry teacher try to teach me physics. The visual arts program is horrible and run by a horrible person. Multiple teachers thought it was appropriate to talk about me behind my back to other students as well as question my 504 plan signed off by multiple doctors. I was even told i did not deserve it. Administration lacks empathy for their students and guidance is no help. If you want your child to have a well rounded catholic education I implore you to look elsewhere. The theology classes are one big joke. The teachers all just talk about politics for over an hour. I transferred out mid junior year and learned more in the half year I spent in public school then I did at the 2 and a half years I spent at immaculata. The education is a joke here. Don’t waste your time and money, your child will come out unprepared
Great school with lots of school spirit! Teachers go above and beyond to support students. Amazing MUSIC program!
