Penn State Reviews
Penn State is an amazing campus with a multitude of career paths to choose from. There are tons of possibilities that one can get involved in at Penn State through clubs, community involvement, or sports. As an engineer, I am very glad that I chose this particular school because our engineering department is one of the best in the United States, and the chances of finding a job upon graduation is quite high. There is one particular thing that I would like to see change in the future at Penn State and that particular change is with academic scholarships for students. Currently, Penn State only offers athletic scholarships at the main campus, and at branch campuses I was able to find out that they offer academic scholarships. There are particular scholarships offered through individual colleges at main, but for someone is graduates in the top percentage of their class there should be some sort of scholarship given. Overall, Penn State is a great school. We Are!
I love Penn State. It's a beautiful campus with so many students, faculty members, organizations and every day events that you not only get a top notch education, but the chance to find yourself and grow. Tons of majors and classes to select from. Any interest you have, you will find people and clubs who love it too. Anywhere you go in the country, there is a Penn State alum! Our name alone does wonders. I have taken advantage of all of the opportunities for leadership, mentorship and workshops here. High tuition, especially for out of state students is what I would like Penn State to change. It increases constantly and rates for upperclassmen always go up.
Penn State is a great place to learn at. Typically, students can choose to go the 2+2 route which allows them to start at another campus for two years and then transfer up to University Park campus for graduation. Penn state is well known as a research school and provides students with endless resources to further their education. The professors are all professional and are passionate about what they teach. Campus life is amazing as long as you put in the effort to get involved. There are plenty of resources to get you in the zone and allow you to socialize with others, and most importantly future employers. They offer many career fairs throughout the year that is great for getting interview experience, or even internships and employment after graduation. Great place to be! We are PENN STATE!
