In the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications the academic advisers are more than willing and able to help students succeed, something vital to great academic achievement. There are countless opportunities to get involved on (and off!) campus and there are plenty of new people to meet every day, as we have an enrollment of nearly 50,000 students at the main campus. The best part of my Penn State degree is the recognition from other alums that comes with it — we have the largest alumni network in the WORLD! Plus, being a Nittany Lion means enjoying Division I sports all the time.

There is give and take in any and all new experiences. I come from a small town, so it was definitely a large cultural shift moving to a place like University Park. Regardless, it has ultimately been a positive change. I have met new friends, found a major in which I have a lot of faith, and the opportunities that are at my fingertips here at PSU are endless. Penn State is widely known for its academics and a social climate to match it. Whether you are you thinking pre-law, engineering, education, liberal arts, or any other major, Penn State has it. I would highly recommend taking a tour, at the every least. The campus is enough to draw you in, the PSU atmosphere is enough to get you to stay!
Penn State is definitely the place to be! When searching for what college you would like to attend, Penn State checks all the necessary boxes; great academics, superb athletics, amazing student life. It 's the best of all three worlds. Penn State is big on diversity and there is something for everyone here on campus. Over a thousand different clubs, a multitude things to do on and around campus, but at the same time if you need to just get away and be in your own space whether it's to focus on your school work or you just need some alone time, there are plenty of people on campus who are in the same boat as you. It's guaranteed that, with 46,000 undergrad students here, there is at least one person who can relate to you and is doing the same thing you are. Penn State is amazing and I couldn't have chosen a better school to attend. WE ARE!
