Alum: While I was there, COVID struck, and during the process the administration changed. The new principal is great, and she is clearly dedicated to making the school a better place. There are many different friend groups, and with a variety of clubs, it is usually not too difficult to find friends.
The mileage with teachers will vary. For AP subjects, the teachers are typically pretty good, though some are newer or simply not as good teachers as the recently retired teachers. For non-AP classes, there is a lot more variation, with some teachers being great, and others not being knowledgable in their subject(s). There is a relatively large of selection for AP classes, with many students taking 3-5 AP classes per year.
In terms of clubs, there are plenty, like robotics, LEAF club, Mini-thon, Envirothon, GSA, science olympiad, and more.
There are also some seniors that can serve on the school board, which in my opinion has had a positive effect since the school board is questionable.... Read 282 reviews
