Dauphin County Technical School Reviews
Rating 4.04 out of 5 151 reviews
My experience at Dauphin County Technical School is very educational. I have learned a lot more than just dentistry. The best part about my experience is the people that I meet. The instructors are really kind and considerate, and my classmates are very welcoming. I enjoy learning together with other students and making new connections. The worst parts of my experience are not having more options for extra circulars and electives there. I would like to see more creative clubs like art club and sports like badminton. There aren't any sports options here or events like homecoming which I would like to see change.
I am a senior at Dauphin County Technical School and it has been a good experience. This school has taught me what I need to be career and college ready by providing the right equipments, making good connections through the clubs, and exposing me to the real world. The staffs and students are what makes the place such a great place! I made friends that I could call family.
The best part are the various technical programs they offer. These programs ensure each student graduates with a degree in a particular trade besides their diploma, so they can go straight into the workforce without going to college. The worst part is the food. The pizza is often stale and not very appetizing. There are also limits on food for vegetarians, except at the salad bar. However, the lunch staff can be considered sometimes to modify the main meal for vegetarians.
