Middle School Student: I have been attending this school for nearly 11 years (I started when I was 3), and honestly my experience has been pretty good. The teachers are really good, and it is a very hands on learning experience. The classes are small so your child will not slip through the cracks and they will always be given a chance to succeed. However diversity could be better, if that's something you care about, the majority of the student population is white and if you're a person of color at this school, you might be the only person of color in your class. Also the teachers and staff aren't as diverse, but regardless they are great! This school will prepare your child for success in their high school career, and it is a very welcoming environment. Senior: I have been attending Milwaukee Academy of Science for 13 years starting as a kindergartener and now graduating as a senior in high school. I’ve seen this school go through many changes for the better and have watched the MAS community grow as a family. The school has a spectacular curriculum that continues to grow each year and staff that go out of their way for all of their students. Although the school could improve the safety practices and precautions, being said that out of my 13 years I have been in more than one dangerous situation while attending class here.... Parent: Milwaukee Math and Science Academy is an excellent school! I was a little hesitant to enroll my children because I had read some negative reviews about the school. However, after I toured the school and met several staff members, I was very impressed and certain that the negative reviews that I had read were untrue and inaccurate. The school building is old, however, it is safe and clean. The hardwood floors and natural light make the school warm and inviting. Enrolling my children went very smoothly. The office staff and administrators are very kind, approachable and helpful. The same can also be said about each of the teachers. I can't say enough about the dedication, patience and genuine warmth, kindness, and compassion that the teachers have. This is NOT just a job to them. Middle School Student: I have been going to central city cyber school for 8 years . From pre k to 8th grade , cyber school is a family oriented environment, everyone is always smiling and ready to learn . My big sister went there from 1st grade to eighth grade and graduated in 2014.
