Wheatland Reviews

21st? More like 221st. Nothing to do, not scenic in the least, close-minded people, and no opportunities. Wheatland is bound and determined to return to the 1930’s socially, economically, culturally, and politically.
Wheatland is cute, small and safe .during the summer there are plenty of events and children's activities. It has quite a bit of shopping options considering the size of town. People are nice but not very friendly. It's hard to make friends and neighbors are very much to themselves. Winters are bitter, VERY windy, and extremely boring. Summers are nice and there are many reservoirs to swim and fish. It's near the forest and mountains. Winters are long. Trees are dead about six months of the year. If you're looking for privacy and quiet, this is your place. If you like to make friends, to have options, to garden, then you might want to rethink coming here.
I've been a Wheatland resident for over 10 years. I'm not a native, and that makes a huge impact on my experience here. It's a small town with a good ol' boys club. If you have the wrong last name, you can forget about your kids having a good experience in school, sports and other clubs.
