#3 Best Suburbs to Live in Houston Area
Sugar Land
Current Resident: My family and I moved to Sugar Land almost two years ago- and every day we pat ourselves on the back for making the best decision for our young children. Sugar Land is safe, diverse, plenty of food options, outdoor recreation, and more. The city is meticulously maintained and people take pride in their neighborhood/community.
There are free events throughout the year that get the residents involved in public services, safety, and plenty more. The overall feeling is that Sugar Land officials truly care about the feedback of residents and pride themselves in serving the public to the best of their ability. Surveys are regularly sent out asking what people would like to see more of in Sugar Land (ex: parks, activities for young kids, art installations, restaurants/bars, shopping, etc). We feel heard, respected, and trusted. The only thing for improvement is Town Center Mall. It's outdated and does not reflect the affluent nature of SG compared to Baybrook Mall, Woodlands Mall, etc.... Read 539 reviews
