Lake Katrine Reviews
Rating 4 out of 5 1 review
I love how Lake Katrine is a close-knit area. I've lived here for about 17 years. There are less than 3,000 residents in this area. It is the perfect area to live because everything is within a 5-10 minute drive. You can live near nature but still, have close access to supermarkets and other necessary commodities. It is the perfect balance of nature and town/city life. This area is also about 2 hours away from New York City, about an hour away from Albany, and about 5 hours from Washington DC. Of course, as in any place, there are certain areas to avoid. For example, as a young woman, I would not wander certain places in Lake Katrine at night.
