I work as a ZA, or a Zoom Associate. Zoom has their issues just as any other company, but the culture is really great and you learn a lot in the ZA role. They also train and pay for you to get your phlebotomy licensure (for the clinics in WA state), plus the pay isn't too bad. It would be nice if management listened to our input and feedback a little more since we are the people working in clinic, but overall not a bad experience. Work life balance is also great since we work 3 1/2 days per week, usually 10-12 hrs a day. Would highly recommend for those who are fresh out of college and looking to start their healthcare career.
Pay is good. Competitive for the market for the position I was in, with few qualifications other than a (preferred) college degree. Good people to work with. I took two stars away because 1) I didn't agree with their COVID response and 2) they offer no flexibility in scheduling.
I like that the company has been innovating healthcare in the Portland metro area for over a decade. Being a part of a company that values qualitative patient care and ease of access is something I find fulfilling. However, the company has gone through many, at times turbulent, changes in the 3 years I have been here. Communication at times has been lacking, especially at the very highest ranks of the company.
