Washington Federal Reviews
Rating 3 out of 5 3 reviews
Washington Federal is an amazing company to work for. The employees support each other professionally and everyone is so very friendly, even the CEO of the company. Washington Federal truly does promote from within and offers compensation if an employee needs to cover shifts at different branches, volunteer in the community for CRA(Community Reinvestment Act) credits, or attend meetings not hosted at the branch. The benefits are super competitive and there's always promotion of continued education and learning. Recommend this company to anyone who wants to pursue a career in the financial, banking, or mortgage industry.
Washington Federal is a quality company with quality management who take care of clients above all else.
This company is not a good place to work if you ever want to advance in a career. They do not allow you to move up very often and still expect you to do everything in the branch. The pay is terrible for the amount of work the expect out of you and they require you to take time outside of work unpaid to promote the company. They have good benefits but do not pay you enough to use them and the people that work here are just rude.
