I love working for Utah Behavioral Services! I get to work with kids and really make a difference in the lives of families. I remember being overwhelmed with a lot of information at first, but they are great at training. They even provide schooling for you to become a registered behavior technician within six months of employment. Now I am confident in how I use ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) to help my clients. What makes Utah Behavioral services different is how we combine ABA and mental health interventions into our services to help a wide variety of teens and children on the autism spectrum. As well as teaching them daily living skills, functional communication and much more all while having fun! Management is great and very helpful. They want everyone to enjoy work.
It's a very flexible and hard, but great work! It can be difficult to learn all the policies and interact with the kids, but it can be very rewarding. It has good pay and you can pick your hours to an extent. I recommend it for sure.
UTBS truly goes the extra mile to fulfill its mission to strengthen families. We are lead by excellent management and staff who are well-trained in their field and are eager to help new employees. Working with these people and these clients everyday has been such a blessing!
