U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants Reviews
Over-worked and under-paid but do so for a good cause! The environment is positive but not easy as there are many cultures and norms to deal with and many frustrations regarding what's expected from refugees and what's expected from management and even above management (Washington). It is also frustrating that so much is expected so quantity is emphasized over quality time with people. Over-all, though, it is rewarding to work here and it looks good on a resume and gives you a snap-shot view of the world and real world problems encountered by refugees and new immigrants.
