University of Louisville Hospital Reviews
Rating 4.29 out of 5 7 reviews
Coworkers are good for the most part. People work well together to accomplish daily goals. Management's running of the department is the biggest drawback. Coworkers are appreciative of your work, but management and company as a whole is not. "Rewards" are usually food based and it's a competition between departments so yours may not even be rewarded. Money is always the focus. Always worried about departments budget.
Good place to work if you're looking to develop nursing skills. This is a teaching hospital so it can be very fast-paced and overwhelming at times. The providers are good at teaching both clients and employees. Overall they are fairly respectful. Pay is about average for the area, shift differential is a set rate. If you accept tuition reimbursement, you are required to stay with the company one calendar year after receiving the payment. No harmful behavior or bullying is tolerated. Decent benefits and overall decent work environment.
My experience was wonderful! everyone was helpful and willing to lead medical expertise. With my experience I felt like I was part of a family not a patient at a hospital.
