Great place to work. We never get bored as our customers are always changing.
The managers ensure work life balance and vacation time is taken. Everyone works together, more like a family than co-workers. The pay and benefits have continued to rise annually, and access to growth opportunities are robust.
I really enjoying interacting with the different functions as part of multi-functional teams, because everyone brings something new to the table. We continue to become more diverse almost daily, which adds to our ability to make decisions that come from teams that are representative of the local community. The other cool thing UPS does very well, is community support via volunteering which is so fun. Working as teams we have built houses for Habitat for Humanity, painted and completed landscaping for Boys and Girls clubs, and collected food for Dare to Care to name a few.
If your looking for a fun and energetic company, this is it!

I was fresh out of undergrad when I began working for United Parcel Services. I was shy, unsure of my place here and felt as if I was not qualified to do the job. I did not believe in my abilities to help run an office but my supervisor saw something in me that I clearly did not see in myself! She stayed on me consistently and I am now being considered for a position as a supervisor! This is truly amazing considering that it has not even been a year since I have began working at the company. I must admit that I have grown as a person, as an employee and as a student here at UPS. Our company has a tuition reimbursement program that I am very grateful for because I am able to go to school, once again, with financial aid assistance! This company has more to offer than I thought it did and I am proud to be apart of it!
Although you are only guaranteed 150 dollars a week, the benefits/bonuses more than make up for it. I make an extra 200 dollars a week for showing up on time everyday and an extra 600 dollars a month through CRCP program. But that's not all.. UPS will also pay for your classes, making this job a "no brainer" for those looking for job while in school. There is also plenty of room for growth. UPS promotes from within, and has many different paths for advancement such as truck drivers and IT professionals. If you have no interest in advancement, that is fine. You can become a full-time package handler. If your okay with your part time hours, that is great too! Your job is protected by the union, and as long as you show up when you say you are going too, they cannot fire you. Supervisors will encourage you to work as fast as possible, but you may take your time without penalty. Working at UPS is one of the best decisions I have made during my college career thus far.
