I enjoy working at UC Health as a CNA and look forward to working as Registered Nurse there. I originally came to the hospital looking for work experience and networking opportunities to understand nursing more deeply and to determine if nursing was the right career path for me. I am very happy to say that it is! Without UC Health's outlook and mission on how to provide health care, I feel I might have tried to work in another hospital system that does not hold mission values that are similar to my own.

I would love for more opportunities for ACPs (Advanced Care Partners) to be present in the ER. There are many nursing students who are capable of working as ACPs and can do all the tasks an ER tech can. It would encourage work opportunity in the ER and further support nursing students, like me, who would like to work in the ER eventually as an RN.

Leadership is engaged with the community and with employees. The organization considers the needs of patients and its workers seriously, making decisions with demonstrated sacrifices coming from the top. This organization is a very well rounded organization with excellent employees. It doesn't feel like leadership takes advantage. The organization is also focused, very seriously, on optimal patient care.
I love working for this company! I've gotten the opportunity to go to a program where I can be placed into a position. The PAR program helped me feel confident and competent entering into my role. Because of this position, it inspired me to go back to school and level within the company.
