TFS provided all technology required to complete remote work. As a Customer Service Representative, my schedule is created for me. You are provided with ample training, and support throughout the team/management. It is very easy to move/change positions within the company and to move up as well. Salary/pay could be more competitive as could vacation time.
While there is always room for improvement in any company, this one has been by far the best place I have ever worked for. I have kept that opinion since I started (I am now a 'seasoned' employee).
Yes, there are politics, and cultures within departments/teams that don't fit the utopian (a situation you'll find in every workplace) environment. However, the people, goals, and daily tasks have always provided the satisfaction of having made a meaningful effort towards a better future (for myself, and others).
The biggest issue with the company though is that it is so large, the little teams/departments are very often left out of consideration for the benefits offered to the (culturally) more meaningful income producing teams/departments. These teams are often not considered when policy's and decisions are made that benefit the 'normal' employees, but frequently hurt (making both personal, and professional life) the ones left out in spite of the company wide 4i "values."

Thermofisher is a fast place and growing company. There are many locations throughout the country benefiting others. There are many opportunities through Thermofisher. The company is always hiring and there is always positions open. The employees of Thermofisher work as a team to accomplish goals and help others. This company wouldn't run if it wasn't for team work. It is great to build relationships with others and feel welcomed. Thermfisher treats their employees with respect and is always looking to help them grow in the work. The diversity at Thermofisher is greater than most companies which also creates a welcoming environment. If I were to change something about Thermofisher, I would change how long the hours can be on some days due to projects.
