The experience is eye-opening working in a factory setting for the first time and getting to experience where my lunchmeat comes from and how it comes to be, but the pace of the workplace suits my style and I enjoy the overall atmosphere so it is a well worth it experience to me.

The teamwork at my plant is very important. There is good communication from management to the production floor about overall plant objectives. As a team member it is understood how you contribute to the overall success of the plant and the business as a whole. All employees are given annual and peer to peer evaulations at least yearly. I worked for Kraft for more than 15 years prior to the merger with Heinz to form Kraft Heinz in 2015.

Kraft Heinz is a good place to gain experience and to learn a wide variety of skills in a fast paced environment. The company adheres to the ZBB (zero based budgeting) method-every penny is accounted for.

Some may find the environment chaotic. If job security is what one wants, this may not be the best company to choose.

The Kraft I worked for exists in product & brand offerings only. The company culture is uniquely 3G now that the merger is complete & seasoned.
