Texas Health and Human Services Commission Reviews
I like the flexibility of my schedule, paid time off, and employer-paid health insurance and retirement. However, the salaries are too low and raises are rare. In addition, the higher ups are less than supportive of lower-level staff and it is a stressful work environment.
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is a great place to work and start your career by helping other Texans in need. There are many amazing people to help you grow and develop skills that you will carry on to others. The state agency has great benefits for all of their staff members, the schedule is pretty nice too.
Like to survey and help others. Its a good place to work. hours can be flexible. really enjoy going to agency's and helping other staff members. Benefits are good, that is why a lot of people work here.Everyone works as a team in my unit that is what makes the company grow.
I LOVE MY ABILITY TO HELP OTHERS ESTABLISH THEMSELVES AND OFFER THEM WITH OPTIONS IN ADDITION TO WHAT WE OFFER
It's a great place to work if you need stability. However, as for long-term, the benefits are what's worth having for retirement. As far as the pay it could be better due to the cost of living.
