Tennessee Department of Corrections - Mark Luttrell Transition Center Reviews

Always short staffed, co workers are lazy and supervisors are not supportive and out to get you. Not all jails for the state of Tennessee are like this. My experience at west Tennessee was much better. At this location, its unorganized and its best to keep to yourself. That location can't keep staff because staff is mistreated every day by their superiors. The warden was no exception. Just an unruly and unfair work environment. I will say that if you buckle down and wait for a job opportunity to come at another location for the state, apply apply apply and you will get that job.

I ENJOY THE FACT THAT ITS CLOSE TO HOME AND QUITE SMALL WITH ONLY 255 INMATES. ALSO, THERE'S MONEY TO BE MADE AT THIS FACILITY WITH THE OVERTIME. THIS IS ONE PLACE WHERE YOU CAN COME IN WITH ONLY A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA , AND LEAVE WITH AS MANY DEGREES AS YOU HEART DESIRES. I DONT LIKE THE FACT THAT DO TO ALOT OF THE SENORITY PEOPLE, THEY ASSUME THAT THEY NO LONGER HAVE TO WORK AND FAVORS ARE ALWAYS TRYING TO BE CALL INTO PLAY ALONG WITH FAVORTISM,
