Tailwind Concessions Reviews
I like the majority of the people working for Tailwind's. There is a problem with management hiring people who do not have the experience to work on the line cooking, and they don't have the personal motivation to learn what they need to learn to do their job effectively. Therefore, we are putting out orders in a manner that is not timely and we put out orders that have been put together wrong. The management is fairly hands-off and so there is no authority figure present to make certain employees motivated to work harder. Certain members of management can be condescending ad downright rude. Other members of management doing as much as they can, and are genuinely kind and compassionate people. It seems like the managers are stretched too thing and are asked to do a lot of things that aren't in their job description.
Awesome place to work. Meet people from around the world. Working past security serving passengers before they board their flight allows one to get to know the returning guests, and people usually are very generous with tips seeing how hard we work to serve everyone drinks from the bar, cappachino machine, fresh food, and running the cash register. Multitasking is a must for this job.
