St Peter's Hospital Reviews

They are a great place to work for. They listen to their employees and offer great benefits. Management is easy to deal with and get in touch with. People work together there to get things done the right way and safely. Communication is highly important and they are always finding new ways to make sure every employee has access to knowing the latest information they need, like the new unit new letter. They generally care about their staff and make sure everyone is happy with how things are going on their unit. Everyone works together greatly as a team.

As a patient advocate I co-manage the hospital’s safety event and complaint reporting system. I review all the safety events reported and facilitate communication between different department directors to address safety concerns. I work with the Risk Management Officer to review current policies and processes and decide if changes are warranted in order to improve patient safety. I also investigate patient concerns regarding quality of care issues. I work with physician leaders to address patient concerns and complaints, and communicate investigative findings to patients. I have learned a lot in this role, and have been supported every step of the way by my co-workers, and senior management.
I have been an LPN with St Petes for over 3 years; i have made life long friends and have very much enjoyed the time i have worked with them; we are a family unit and each and every nurse and provider i have worked with genuinely cares for their patients; they think of the patients as their own family and know how they would want THEIR loved ones treated should they be suddenly ill or injured; i am proud to have been part of this "family"
