Springbrook Hospital Reviews
This corporate funded behavioral health hospital needs major improvement, to say the least. The main concern I have as an employee, is the disregard for Florida law; specifically the Baker Act. Physicians and Administrators do not abide by the strict timeline that is part of the Baker Act. Guardian Advocates are often not specified by physicians, and therefore nursing staff are left unsure as to who to contact. Competency forms are not completed appropriately, much less on time, by physicians. Furthermore, staffing is dangerously low and inappropriate at times; i.e. female staff members are placed on 12 hour long 1:1 observations for male patients. The only plus I have for this company is the compensation. Shift differential is very good and this hospital is the highest paying in the area. Unfortunately, this company is still issuing paper checks.
Okay place to work needs better management. Employees are very friendly and overall care about their job. Need more staff
