it isn't the greatest job but it is a good job to start off. like alot of kids coming out of high school work here.
It's a wonderful place to kickstart your resume! Not only will you make some amazing friends along the way, but you'll learn so much about yourself in a semi-professional setting.
This job has provided me with various skills in dealing with the general public, and has taught me how to break out of my shell.
I work for Flash pass. To specify, I work for a technology group known as Accesso under the property of Six Flags Magic Mountain. This technology group supplies the devices that are then purchased and distributed amongst guests coming to the park for that day. One of the aspects that I enjoy about working for flash pass is that it is an entry level job that that provides countless of opportunities to younger students who are staring out in the work field. Also this company does a good job of providing an equal opportunity to those with criminal history. So long as they truthfully acknowledge their history they are given equal opportunity in the interview process. I also appreciate that there are ample opportunities for promotion. Even our manager was once a team member. This company also does a great job of supporting their employees them allotting them 10 points a year to cover any call outs and tardiness.
Management is seriously amazing. Its always so rewarding to see how much enjoyment guests get out of the park, and how much the attitude of the staff really is a huge piece!
This is a great starter job to learn how to work in the worst customer service positions. Other than that, be prepared to be spit on, have food thrown at you, be a victim of assault (sexual, verbal, etc). Your time here should be short lived, and nothing more. This place will never be a "good job" no matter how many times they tell you you'll get promoted. Every tier is worse than the last. I'd recommend this place if you're 14 and want a summer job or if you're actually starving and there are no other options. Do yourself a favor and work literally anywhere else.
My experience has been good the co workers are nice and so are the supervisors. I have enjoyed working here although its quite a drive from my house.
The pay is terrible. Full time management don't give a damn about seasonal management. There are no benefits whatsoever. Full time management get bonuses despite the seasonal management doing all the work. HR is terrible and severely unorganized. International employees are treated better than regular emoyees.
Six Flags is a great started job for someone just starting out either still in High School or in college. Six Flags is there to have a little money in the pockets.
Great for students due to scheduling. The environment is terrible. Since they basically have a never ending stream of new employees, the company doesn't really care about you. However, my managers were aware of this and went out of their way to interact with us. It's a fast pace place, there was always something going on. There is one very important skill I learned from this place, that is how to deal with many different kinds of people.
Great first time job for teenagers. This park truly is a great adventure for the whole family, which features 100 rides, shows, special events and theme areas. Best Six Flags ever! Better than the rest! Filled with family coasters and others! It has fright fest which is spooky, It's only in September to October 31st. It has other activities to win prizes! It also has the best roller coasters ever!
My experience with Six Flags is to the best. First, they gave me poor hours and only gave me weekends. My first shift I worked 10 hours and was exhausted.
I enjoyed working here as a fun summer job. The coworkers were chill and I got along with everybody. I got valuable experience in the food service industry, earned money, and made new friends from this job. Although my commute here was out of my way, I had fun while working and would recommend this job for others who want to experience working at a theme park.
Management is very kind and considerate towards their employees. Everyone working genuinely wants guests to enjoy their time at the park.
During my time working for Six Flags Magic Mountain I had very mixed feelings. I enjoyed the work environment and comradery with my co-workers and supervisors that was so crucial to the work environment. However, I believe much of the work was mind-numbing work with understandably low compensation.
I really enjoy working here. I love the perks this job gives. We can bring friends into the park for free, we get discounted items, and the hours are flexible. I am a ride operator so the only bd thing about the job is being in the heat for many hours throughout the day, besides that I enjoy working there.
Six Flags is a great company to work for, super friendly staff and human resource. They work with your schedule and the hours are really flexible, the only thing I would change is the stand time.
