Sheetz is a pretty good company to work for. If you work in a store with a group of people who work hard and work as a team it will be a great environment to work. They are very flexible with schedules since they are open 24/7.
I absolutely love working at sheetz. They offer equal opportunities, great pay, and lots of flexibility. In other words, they will most certainly work around you as best as they can. They offer plenty of hours, great discounts/benefits including scholarships for full time students! The only thing I would change is their scholarship requirements. Sometimes a student just has too much on their plate and can't afford as much as they require to be eligible for their yearly scholarship which creates a lot of stress on students.
Horrible employees. Bad place to work. Constant bulling and emotional abuse. Not allowed to use restrooms. Supervisor and team leads are horrible to people and constantly making new people quit. They belittle you and store manager does not care. They treat customers very bad making fun of them. They lie about everything. They start trouble. If you are not in there clique then u getted treated horrible especially the overnight shift. The overnight people get treated worse.
Has good pay for the job and they're always hiring, but be prepared for little training and long, intense nights on football weekends.
Sheetz is an okay place to work not the best but not the worst. Sheetz is a good place to have around because high school and college students like to come in to hang out of have study groups. Sheetz bringing the younger group in and they really enjoy it.
They offer great pay, flexible hours, and awesome employee discounts. Perfect for students! I also really like the dynamic work environment as sometimes I make coffee and tea drinks, sometime I make food, and other times I work behind the register.
I love Sheetz. I have worked here for nearly 7 years. They are incredibly reliable and flexible. They have provided with the ability to deal with people of all varieties. They have also taught me how to work with others and handle conflict. They offer tuition reimbursement which has helped me alot while i went to collge
It's a very fast-paced working environment. Everyone cares about what they do, though. Also- most of your training will be completely hands-on, you pretty much get thrown in and learn as you go.
I worked at the Beale Ave location in Altoona. Crap for hours. 12 or less hours per week most weeks. Some employees work even less and are being asked to work multiple 2 hour shifts per week. It’s as if workers don’t matter as people unless they kiss butt with management.
My experience working at sheetz over the past 10 months has been very good! All of the employees are friendly and help me do things when I need it. They are very lenient with my schedule, and a benefit to it being open 24/7 is there will always be someone to take your shift, should you need to call off. The managers do a good job of keeping us updated and the communication throughout the corporation is at a high level.
This company is by far the best I have ever been employed with. They are compassionate about their work as well as their employees. They work well with everyone's lives to create the best schedule. The benefits are amazing as well as the at work perks.
Sheetz is the best company to work for! I have been working here for over 7 years and I can tell you that they, without a doubt, know how to treat there employees!
Sheetz is a great job for students in high school and college. With good pay, benefits, and a great team, Sheetz is a job for any age.
Sheetz is super corporate so it’s hard to see working there as anything other than a job. It pays well which is good, but I feel like something that makes me want to stay at a job is having some sort of camaraderie with my coworkers. You aren’t allowed to make friends there though, they will separate everyone and make then clean different things. It just wasn’t for me.
Sheetz is a very positive working environment overall. Sometimes when the store gets busy, it is very stressful, but the managers are nice and easy-going and the job isn't strenuous or difficult. The hours are very flexible.
I find that Sheetz has some of the most fun people to work with that I've met. They treat their employees quite well and the benefits that are offered help most of the people who work for them. One of the few things I would change is how the schedules are made, since reading them can be quite confusing at times.
The company is great and provides great benefits and such, however sometimes it can be super stressful
