Seattle Children's Hospital Reviews
The pay and benefits at Seattle Children's are great. The people I work with are amazing. Everyone is here for the same goal, to help children. It's an amazing feeling walking into work every morning knowing that when I look around, we all want the same thing in the end and we are all working our hardest to achieve it. My work/life balance is tough because I have a long commute, but our company has just implemented a new policy around "alternate work schedules" (working four 10s, working from home, etc.) so I'm hoping that will help. Overall Seattle Children's is an amazing place to work.
Seattle Children's is amazing. It provides a welcoming space for everyone that walks through the doors. You can always count on employees and staff to say hello or give a smile in the hallways. The hospital itself is always developing and growing in order to stay caught up with the latest technology while remaining clean and tidy. Unfortunately, the space given to each department is not always equal and fair. Some important departments have little to no space while other departments have more space than they know what to do with. Other than that, no complaints.
This is a wonderful place to work; I've been here for 8 years. Children's is a prominent part of the Seattle community and regularly gives back. The involvement in health care, research and fundraising is remarkable.
