Manager / Director: At UPS Worldport in Louisville, KY we see a lot. We are the largest hub in the United States dealing with both aircraft and tractor trailers. This company has been a blessing. Helping pay full tuition for certain colleges in the area and having amazing insurance benefits. While I am thankful for the experience of working with UPS, there are many things I would like to see change. This place is large, so I am talking about my area specifically. I would like to see more involvement with management training. Being in management I got no feedback or formal hands on training. I would also like to see a rise of women in management. Manager / Director: I work as the Body Shop Manager at one of their SoCal locations and I am very proud to work there. The leadership there really cares about all the employees from the lot porters to the managers, they all mean something. The benefits are beyond amazing. They provide medical, dental, vision, life insurance and they match part of the 401k. They also provide opportunities to all the employees to further their education with tuition assistance. The companies number one priority is and always will be safety. Ensuring that all our employees are able to work to their full potential with the best equipment is not nearly as important as being able to go home, safe and sound to our families and that means a lot. There is lots of room for advancement as well as providing leadership training to those employees that show lots of heart and a willingness to be better leaders.
