Experienced Employee: I worked at a branch in Soda Springs, ID and AECOM was very good at compensating for work. Sometimes upper management would make things difficult but the local management would not take it out on the lower end employees. They would always make the workplace safe and secure, safety was the main objective everyday. I think AECOM in general is very safety oriented, and provides ample opportunities in safety training. Local managers and supervisors are very friendly and helpful in all aspects of work. There was no demeaning talk or treatment of the employees, and they used mistakes as opportunities for learning. Experienced Employee: My overall experience was fairly adequate, you don't necessarily need sales experience to work here. The position relied heavily on teamwork and communication. I was fortunate enough to work aside knowledgeable team members that helped train me in the art of salesmanship. However, as most positions, it had it's pros and cons. The flexibility of hours was poor, due to the convenience of management who ran the store. Experienced Employee: My second career job after college. The company offers great work/life balance with work at home options. The projects are interesting to work on. As a growing professional the company offers new experiences as my experience in the industry increases. The culture has like minded individuals who are competent in their roles. The company lacks training procedures however this does not affect me greatly because I enjoy independent research of my skills by involving myself in learning what is needed for projects. If there is one thing the company could improve is the availability of mentors in the company. Intern / Student Worker: Best internship ever! I had a lot of fun, I learned a lot, and the project I was working on go launched to be used by real users. Niche User: I have loved working at Ingram! It was such an incredible experience and the job is super easy. Everyone was always happy and super friendly especially the manager , he always made super that everyone was doing their job and was friendly, kind and a great lead. Intern / Student Worker: NASA JPL is a great place to work! The benefits are solid and the campus is absolutely beautiful. I will say, though, that your experiences there as an employee can vary greatly depending on your team of coworkers. With over 6,000 employees, there is a huge variation of people and personalities on lab. You might not find your niche at first, but with such a large number of departments and teams, if you move around, you are likely to find your spot.
