Experienced Employee: Have been with the company for about 5 years now. I have learned so much within the health field. I work in an office that works with several hospitals in getting the patients where they need to be in order to have better care and services that are not provided there. Working in the background, you get to see and hear different situations and how they are handled amongst peers and management. It’s a high paced working environment but it has taught me a lot a lot about time management and triaging what’s critical and what is not. The only thing I would change is management. Experienced Employee: I have worked for Atlanticare for the past 7 years. I am a registered nurse at the company and would recommend a family member to receive care here. Atlanticare has a great orthopedic unit and childbirth center. The downside to working for the company has always been the inadequate pay in comparison to other hospital employees and nurses in the surrounding hospitals. Niche User: Although I think this is a great place to work because the environment is very motivating and people are friendly,I think this company needs to hire more employees. Volunteer: Overall it is a wonderful place for treatment as the faculty works hard and efficiently and does well at their jobs. The one thing I wish to see an improvement in is security around all outside access points as I have heard many times people walk right in and find their own way through the hospital. The hospital implemented a visitor pass policy but why do that if there is not much security around to even look for the badges and when they do look, it is a quick glance, so one could have the wrong ID and still go through....
