Experienced Employee: I have really enjoyed working at this hospital. I consider my co workers my family. I was offered a pension after working five years with them. The company has grown so much since I have started it from only being two floors to know having four floors and multiple locations. This hospital is one of two hospitals in my area. I have been told by many of my patients that they always have a good experience when they come to our hospital because we are all kind and compassionate workers. I would say or cafeteria food is higher quality than you would normally get at a hospital. Experienced Employee: I love working here! I have worked here for 4 years and I have always had the best experience. The hours can be long but mostly everyone works together to take turns being mandated. The residents are awesome they love all of the staff. The building could use some updates. I have never had a bad experience. The pay is average. The employees always get along and work together. We have to remind ourselves that we are not at work to make money we are at work to help people and that is what needs to happen. The job is very rewarding. I am looking forward to working as a Nurse after graduation. I hope that all of the North shore healthcare facilities are as awesome as ours in Hayward. If I could change one thing it would be that the holiday requirements would be working every other holiday so that some people have some holidays off instead of holidays always landing on their day to work....
