The benefits are through Lifespan, which are good, but co-pays, even within the hospital network, have been steadily increasing. Dependent upon your title and what department you are within, management can be particularly accepting of family issues, a need for flexible hours, etc. However, this greatly depends upon whether or not your role is clinical or essential. It is difficult to obtain raises, even if your job duties change vastly. Experienced Employee: Kent Hospital is a very clean and friendly environment. Managers are willing to work with you on your work schedule while in school. Shift select is very helpful program when trying to pick up hours or requesting time off. Employees are also helpful with making switches or working a day for you if need the time off. Full time and part time employees are offered health insurance. As time goes on employees accrued time off and sick time. The gift shop is a beautiful place to shop in. There are so many different things to look at starting with bags, jewelry, sports emblem's, cards, candy, baby clothes, and etc. Also, on the second floor there is a café that serves coffee and tea, it also has cookies and sandwiches. Experienced Employee: i work for Cub, a subsidiary of UNFI. My store is pleasant to work in, most of the time. My job is fairly easy as well. Wish i got paid as much as my co-workers, though. For a part-time job the benefits are OK; just happy that bereavement pay is generous. (Sadly both my parents passed in recent weeks so i've had to use a lot of it.) i would let myself get promoted to Customer Service Manager, but not if i dont get any more pay (not worth the extra hassle).
