Experienced Employee: There is a love/ hate relationship with this company, at least for me. Wawa has great benefits, tuition assistance, and PTO. Management is 50/50, some care about their employees, and others don't. The rotation of managers can make the workplace feel on edge. They have many growth opportunities if you see a career through Wawa and with the right management to help you, it is a great experience. Manager / Director: I thoroughly enjoyed most of my time working for the company. I spent 1 year at an Urban Outfitters (more quite location than most) and 4 years at an Anthropologie (busy location). The company is every changing and absorbing employee and customer feedback. During my 4 years at Anthro, I saw the company make big strides to provide a safe and comfortable place for people to work. The switch in CEOs of the Anthropologie Group to Tricia Smith proved to be a good decision in my eyes as policies and processes became smoother and more aligned with what employees needed. The few issues for me were needing more payroll (this may have changed in fall of 2022 after I left) and providing policy security when it came to dealing with difficult customers. Experienced Employee: I work as a Delivery Assistant while in college and I absolutely love my job. My schedule is Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday 4:00 pm - 5:00 am. I go to classes on my off days and have more off days than most of my classmates. It is a labor job so it doubles as a workout every night! Sheetz also helps with school by providing up to $5,250 in tuition reimbursement. The reimbursement helps very much with school especially if you pay out of pocket like myself! Experienced Employee: My experience driving for Ubereats has been good. I love how flexible the hours are...you basically choose your own schedule. I'd only recommend doing Ubereats if your town is smaller. I did it in Flagstaff, Arizona, a college town, and it was the perfect size.
