Entry Level Employee: I love the atmosphere at the workplace. The co-workers and management became an inspiration for myself to look up to. Training was great and a helpful. I am grateful to them all for my experience and given knowledge. The only downfall is the high turnover due to it being a call center environment, it was to be expected though. Experienced Employee: I've been working there for over 17 years and love it. It is clean, the people are helpful to visitors and the doctors are wonderful. I've worked at other hospitals and have never felt this comfortable in a job. The floor I work on is very flexible with my times working because of my children. My children also went to the St. Francis daycare through preschool and it was the best decision I made for them. They were very prepared for kindergarten and were definitely more advanced than the other kids. We constantly were learning new ways of selling and connecting with clients. The product was quality, the company was eco-consciensous and trendy so, I could really get behind it and sell it. There were enough options so I could really custom design a space for my client. Even my clients who had particular ideas could feel satisfied with Ethan Allen products. About half of the staff in Torrance has been working there for over 10 years and that says a lot about how wonderful the company treats their employees. I actually worked there in 2005 for a few years then came back 10 years later. The company had changed for the better to keep up with modern times which proves they are open to change if it is in the benefit of the employees and consumer. I am grateful for my time there. You look forward to going into work when you get along with others at your workplace. I have only lived in New Britain for three years. I moved from another state, and I have to say I really like the atmosphere here in HOCC. The staff on my unit make the workday tolerable even on bad days.
