Experienced Employee: I have been an active employee at Saint Francis for almost seven years. I started out as a nurse tech in an ICU and now am currently a registered nurse pursuing my family nurse practitioner license. This is the best hospital in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. I wish there would be an increase in pay, as nurses deal with a large amount of stress and coordination for patients' day to day. Volunteer: This retail store is the best with organic products and non-organic products. Some of the things I like is when there is a special deal offer in the store where products are in low cost. It brings many customers in the store and more products been sold. The employees at the store gets together as a family, with many different backgrounds its the best place to work. The changes I would love to see is, getting students who work there getting scholarship and employees (as in adults) getting the benefits that they need. Experienced Employee: This is a private owned surgical hospital by a number of doctors. It is one of the higher ranked hospitals in Oklahoma. I couldn't imagine working at any other hospital. Intern / Student Worker: I was extern this year as part of a program with Tulsa Next Gen Talent. My two-week experience was quite well. For two weeks as I able to go to many floors and be introduce to many different jobs and learned what they did for the company. From pipeline control to supply chain. I received a lot of information and made many connections to the more professional world. I also got some useful advice that I can use for both college and life. Experienced Employee: I am a certified lifeguard from the America Red Cross and I love the challenge of having such a big responsibility for my actions. I had to undergo rigorous training that included not only several aspects of swimming competence like treading water for stamina, retrieving a brick at the bottom of the pool, swimming the length of the pool multiple times and simulating a real life saving situation, none of these things were easy but they were a vital part of my training. In addition I was required to pass my cpr test ( both written and practicum). Overall, I’m ecstatic I put the work in and landed such a great job at such a great place. Experienced Employee: I love my boss and my co workers. Very friendly and helpful. Management is very family friendly. The business unit that I currently advise and assist is not easy to work for. This unit does not care about health and safety and the compensation of the employees in its care. No matter how much my unit tries to help and assist this group nothing changes. From the very tops of the company down to mid management they are almost corrupt. Thankfully my job is not beholden to this group and my boss takes care of us. We are a very tight knit group.
