Entry Level Employee: I love working at Geisinger. It has helped me become a better nurse. The staff is great, we all get along. Management is very easy to get along with. You can make your own schedule, so work life and school life are easy to handle. They offer tuition reimbursement which is an awesome option. We are a tad understaffed however management does know about this and is always hiring to help resolve this issue. Geisinger has given me so many great opportunities as a new nurse. They offer a nurse residency program for new nurses to get experiences with things we would normally worry about. First RRTs, first codes, what’s in our scope not in our scope. Entry Level Employee: I started working around November for a seasonal position. This was actually my first job! It is now the end of March and I am still working here. I love my job, coworkers, and company. I truly love Gertrude Hawk's Chocolate. I am a college student and my boss is very flexible with hours and scheduling. My only complaint would be that the company shut down some of the machines right before Christmas. There are always a lot of products that we have to tell the loyal customers that we are out of stock of. I have watched family traditions be broken in just the few months I have worked here. Entry Level Employee: My time at Allied Services thus far can be described as informational and fun. I have gained more knowledge on becoming a better future social worker due to the training and experience I have received with the company. I love how everyone here has no issue in helping inform you in grey areas you may have and even going the extra mile to go over examples or real-time scenarios. Also, the resident population I work with is so fun and interactive to be around every day. I love being able to wake up every day and come to work knowing that I have a positive impact on the residents and that they are reciprocating that same energy to me. The only change I would love to see at Allied is being able to do more recreational activities for the residents in the community.
