Entry Level Employee: To start off, I’d say that my experience working at Intel has so far been incredible as there is a lot to offer. Not only is there a fantastic work culture, but people are also generally placed in a team work setting and believe me when I say, you will become very close to your tight knit group. Not only that but the benefits are great and there is so much to enjoy both at the campus and outside. The work-life balance is also great. Ranging from the standard 9-5 to a 3/4 work day type of setting. I had work shifts already scheduled and I didn't know how to talk about this with my managers. Luckily my managers noticed something was off and brought me to a private room to check on me. I told them my aunt passed away and the funeral was this weekend. So communication is lacking, if any issues arise is near to impossible to get immediate assistance. Correspondence is done via email, and plan to wait 1-2 days for some kind of response. I love the platform they provide for all independent contractors to engage and communicate with one another. This allows the teachers to answer questions and support one another through challenges. The only change I hope to see in the near future is for the company to reevaluate policy standards for the teacher.
